A One-of-One Hespera Creation
The best journeys rarely begin where you expect.
This necklace started life as a broken 1950s Navajo piece, its original story seemingly finished. But beautiful craftsmanship deserves more than a drawer or a melting pot. So we carefully reclaimed its vintage pendant and built an entirely new path around it.
Hand-strung with an ombré of natural Kingman turquoise, the necklace moves effortlessly through shades of desert sky, seafoam, and soft earth. Vintage heishi, sterling silver accents, and subtle asymmetry give it the feeling of something collected over a lifetime rather than assembled in a single afternoon.
At 50 grams, Long Trail is one of the most wearable pieces in the Second Sunrise collection. It layers beautifully with Navajo pearls, disappears comfortably under a denim jacket, and somehow feels equally at home in the desert, at the beach, or around a campfire.
This isn’t reproduction jewelry.
It’s history that refused to retire.

Eric’s Note
I’ve always believed old jewelry deserves another adventure. Somebody wore this pendant seventy years ago. Somebody loved it enough to wear it until the original necklace couldn’t go any farther. I like to think we’re just helping it continue the trip.
